I have been working here two semesters now. I have a few suggestions.

I am not sure if this is the correct forum, but I see no other place for it.

1.  PLEASE update the online directory. I am listed in a room two doors down from where I really work and so are my colleagues. I know at least one professor that hasn't been in the room you have her listed in for months. If we want to students to find us, then it needs to be corrected. And if we want students to strive for excellence, then we should set a good example ourselves!

2.  I think the computer lab (G009) should have a First Aid Kit. When I saw the memo about refilling them because it was First Aid Month, I thought it would be a great idea. (I work on the weekends when hardly any other rooms and offices are open. Then I was told there is no money for a NEW kit. You can fill one if you have one, but you can’t get one if you need one. (Makes lots of sense to me!!) Any part of the college that is open during off hours (Library, Labs, cafeteria) should have an emergency kit for all staff to access, not locked in an office somewhere.

3.  I would like a suggestion box put somewhere, so students and staff could put suggestions in there. And it should be mounted in a place that is always accessible, 24 hours a day.

4.  Why isn't there an intercampus mailbox available during the off hours?

I rec'd something in the mail at home that needed me to sign and return it. I could either bring it in on my own time to the correct department, or mail it in.  What a shame that I couldn't drop it somewhere in a box and know it would get delivered.
