The
State University of New York (SUNY) has worked
with the State Emergency Management Office (SEMO)
and colleges statewide to adapt NY-Alert for emergency
campus notifications. Sullivan County Community
College is one of those campuses. The system of
notification is now complete and is accepting
your emergency contact information, Sullivan's
NY-Alert system will notify students, faculty
and staff of emergencies and the appropriate action
to take.
SIGN
UP
To sign up and enter your notification information,
go to: www.suny.edu/SUNYALERTsec
You
will be prompted to login; do so by using your
Sullivan Computer username and password. You will
then be redirected to the NY-Alert Form where
you will enter your contact information so you
will be notified in the event of an campus-wide
emergency. Valid subscribers to Sullivan's SUNY
NY-Alert must be current students, faculty and
staff. Notifications options available to our
campus community include email, phone call (traditional,
VOIP, or cell), fax, or via cell phone or pager
text messages.
