Withdrawal
from the College
A withdrawing student must initiate the procedure at the Department of Learning
and Student Development Services. The retention counselor will notify all appropriate
offices of a withdrawal, including the Office of Registration Services, Financial
Aid/Student Billing, and the student’s instructors and advisors.
The deadline to withdraw from the College (all courses) without academic penalty
is the last day of the tenth week of the semester. It is recommended that a
student contemplating withdrawal first consult Financial Aid/Student Billing
before initiating the withdrawal process.
Students are required to withdraw from the College through established procedures.
Failure to withdraw properly may lead to forfeiting the opportunity to continue
college attendance in the future.
There is no fee to withdraw correctly from the College.
