This revised Periodical List has been prepared to help you determine exactly which magazines, newspapers, and journals are available here in the library, either in their original paper form, or reproduced on microfilm or microfiche. In the following document you will find an alphabetical title listing of this library’s periodicals, with date ranges of holdings for that title in both formats.

Where are the periodicals kept in this library?

The latest issues of  periodicals are on open display in the 1st floor reading area.

Sometimes, this list will indicate that one or more issues of a periodical is kept on reserve behind the circulation desk—in this case, please ask a staff member to see the issue.

Paper copies of back issues of periodicals are found in the Periodicals Room, E105, arranged on the shelf for easy access by title, not subject.

Where can I find the microfilm?

In the Periodicals Room, E105: New York Times, Mar. 26, 1973 to the present; Wall Street Journal, Oct. 1971 to November 1999; all other periodicals from 1989 onward.

In the Technical Services Room, E107: New York Times, Jan. 1, 1959 to March 25, 1973; all other periodicals up through 1988.
