Sullivan Men Win Championship

Congratulations to the Men’s Basketball Team for winning the Onondaga CC Winter Basketball Classic this past weekend in Syracuse. The Generals (13-0) beat Nationally Ranked Massachusetts Bay CC (MA) in the first round and then went on to beat Ann Arrundel CC from Baltimore, Maryland in the Championship game. The Generals, the 4th ranked team in America in the latest NJCAA poll, were led by Tournament Most Outstanding Player, Moses Dayee (#32), who scored a career high 33 points in the Championship game and All-Tournament selection Jason Givens (#14), who scored 12 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in the title game.
On Saturday morning, the team was invited by Coach Jim Boeheim to visit Syracuse University and tour the Carrier Dome to watch the Nationally Ranked Syracuse Orange practice. Coach Boeheim and the Syracuse players spoke to our team and met with them after practice. It was a great experience.
The “undefeated” Generals face NJCAA Division I full-scholarship Globe Institute tomorrow night in the final home game of the year. The game starts at 7PM!!
